What Communora360 does, which features depend on your organisation’s profile, and where each one is available.
1. Members and records
Member register
Member IDs, groups, profiles, custom fields and each member’s statement.
Import from Excel or CSV
Column matching and cleaning of Google Forms, ODK and KoBo exports; rows that need fixing are shown with the reason.
Online registration and renewals Profile
Public registration with approval, annual dues by category, a renewal page and dues standing.
Membership cards Profile
Cards with a QR code that checks the membership live.
Interest groups Profile
Groups with their own roles and group SMS.
2. Collections and payments
Payment types and eligibility
Fixed, variable or per-item amounts and frequencies, with rules for who pays what.
Many ways to pay
USSD, a Mobile Money prompt, the member portal and app, or cash and bank recorded by your team. Each payment is recorded against the member and an SMS receipt is sent.
Your own merchant account
Online payments go into your organisation’s own Hubtel merchant account. EBITS never holds the money.
Pay for someone else
By USSD, using the other member’s Member ID; both receive an SMS.
Payment imports Feature
Import many payments from a spreadsheet, approved by a second person.
Online collection needs your organisation’s Hubtel merchant account with Direct Receive Money and Online Checkout switched on. Until then, payments run in simulation mode for testing.
3. Communication
SMS to the right people
Audiences by group, region or those who still owe, with each member’s details filled in, and scheduling.
Receipts and reminders
Automatic SMS receipts and payment reminders, with a message log.
Birthday SMS Feature
Automatic birthday wishes for members with a date of birth.
Members’ home page Feature
News, useful links and the message of the day in the app and the member portal; every message approved by a person.
SMS and USSD usage is charged as agreed in your proposal.
4. Events
Invitations and registration Profile
Drafts, SMS invitations, online registration and fees by Mobile Money, with approvals and substitutes.
Badges and check-in Profile
Badges with QR codes and check-in at the door with the team’s scanner.
Places for institutions Profile
Delegate places allocated per member institution.
CPD points and certificates Profile
Points per event and certificates with a verification QR code. A record, not an accreditation.
Check-in at the door needs an internet connection.
5. Elections and governance
Voting programmes Profile
Electorate rules, candidates with photos and a ballot preview before voting opens.
Voting on the web, the app and USSD Profile
Members vote while voting is open; results stay sealed until an electoral commissioner releases them.
Weighted and representative votes Profile
Weights and designated representatives where your rules need them.
Executives and office holders Feature
Positions, terms, renewals, election winners and the history of who held each office.
6. Modules for your kind of organisation
Churches Profile
Congregations, envelopes, families, cells and ministries; services, tithes and offerings, pledges, giving statements and congregation totals.
Associations of institutions Profile
Member institutions and their people, subscriptions by tier, the representative portal and delegate places.
Linked member organisations Optional
The association sees only the totals each member organisation chooses to share. Set up by EBITS on request.
Welfare and benefits Optional
Rules, claims with evidence, one to three approval levels, recorded pay-outs and fund balances.
Member loans Optional
Products, applications in the member portal, guarantor consent, approvals, recorded disbursement, repayments, arrears and a loan book. Not in the mobile app.
The system never sends money: pay-outs and loan disbursements are made by your organisation and recorded. EBITS does not provide lending capital.
7. Accounts and bookkeeping
Books that keep themselves Optional
Payments, loose collections, loan disbursements and repayments, and welfare pay-outs go into the books automatically; a reversal is reversed there too.
Expenses with receipts Optional
Each expense with its receipt, approved by one to three other people (as you choose) before it goes into the books.
Transfers and charges Optional
Hubtel settlements to the bank, cash banked, petty cash, with any charges recorded.
Funds and budgets Optional
Money set aside for a purpose with its own balance, and a budget for each category against what really happened.
Bank reconciliation Optional
Import a bank or Hubtel statement (Excel or CSV); matching lines are paired automatically.
Financial reports Optional
Receipts and payments account, income and expenditure, cash book, statement of financial position and trial balance; closed months; a read-only auditor role.
Accounts is an optional module that EBITS switches on. It uses the cash basis. The reports support your treasurer, committee and auditor; they do not replace your accountant's or auditor's sign-off.
8. Reports, roles and administration
Dashboard
Collections, trend, dues progress and who is paying.
Report centre
Reports to print, save as PDF or open in Excel; downloads are recorded in the audit trail.
Roles and separation of duties
Each officer gets only the access their role needs; nobody approves their own entries.
Audit trail
Who did what and when, with before and after values. Entries cannot be edited.
Your brand and your words
Your logo and colours on screens, receipts and reports; your own words, such as “cells” or “member institutions”.
Connect other systems
A REST API with tokens, for example to link payroll or HR.
What members can do on each channel
Not every feature is on every channel. Team work (set-up, approvals, reports) happens in the web portal.

On USSD, members can also pay for someone else with that member’s Member ID. Depends on your organisation’s profile and modules. SMS and USSD usage is charged as agreed.
